As people say, Microsoft was the first major database vendor to include data mining features in a relational database. What dose this exactly mean? Thanks a lot for any guidance.

It means that we were the first to include machine learning techniques as part of our standard database offering. In SQL Server 2000, we included Clustering and Decision Trees as part of Standard Edition at no extra cost.
